Narrow it down in three questions
-
How much do you want to see through it? For full privacy, choose vinyl, Fence Trac or Trex. To keep the view, choose ornamental steel or semi-privacy vinyl.
-
What look is your home and street? Match the style tag: Transitional, Classic, Modern or Traditional. We design to your HOA’s guidelines too.
-
How little upkeep do you want? Vinyl just needs a rinse. Ornamental steel, Fence Trac and Trex never need stain or paint.
Curves, walls and slopes
Made to fit your yard
"Atlas did a phenomenal job on our black 4 ft metal fencing! Our yard was not just a square to work with. We have different levels of cinder block retaining walls that are curved… Tyson went above and beyond to make the necessary alterations to make everything fit seamlessly and it turned out better than we could have expected!"
Lots of Wasatch Front yards have slopes and retaining walls. We’ll walk yours with you and plan how the fence follows them before we quote.

Ornamental steel questions
Will an ornamental steel fence rust?
Every ornamental fence we install uses Iron Shield: 45,000 PSI steel, G60 galvanized, sealed with a phosphate coating, primed with zinc-rich epoxy and finished with an architectural powder coat. The manufacturer's 10-year limited warranty covers coating integrity.
What heights can I get?
4 ft and 6 ft.
What colors are available?
Black.
Flat top or spear top: what is the difference?
Both are 3 rail designs. On the flat top, the pickets finish at the top rail for a clean, level line. On the spear top, the pickets rise past the top rail to pointed spear tips.
Will ornamental steel give me privacy?
No. It is open and see-through, which is the point: security and curb appeal without hiding the view. For full privacy, choose vinyl, Fence Trac or Trex.
How much upkeep does it need?
Very little. There is nothing to stain or paint.
Can it follow retaining walls and slopes?
Yes. We read your yard on-site, including grade changes and retaining walls, and plan how the fence follows them before we quote.
How fast will I get a quote?
You get a firm written quote within 24 hours of your free on-site estimate, and for most projects before we leave.
How long does installation take?
Most installs take 1 to 7 days on site. We set posts on day one and come back the following week to hang gates once the concrete has cured. Permits and the Blue Stakes utility locate typically take about 7 days before that.
