The difference you can't see from the street

Why thicker vinyl matters

  • Fades evenly, not blotchy.

UV-stabilized to hold its color for years, not months.

  • Stands up to Utah wind.

Thicker walls stay rigid instead of rattling loose.

  • Shrugs off rocks and debris.

Thicker material means fewer cracks from flying mower bits, and lower maintenance.

Narrow it down in three questions

  • How much do you want to see through it? For full privacy, choose vinyl, Fence Trac or Trex. To keep the view, choose ornamental steel or semi-privacy vinyl.

  • What look is your home and street? Match the style tag: Transitional, Classic, Modern or Traditional. We design to your HOA’s guidelines too.

  • How little upkeep do you want? Vinyl just needs a rinse. Ornamental steel, Fence Trac and Trex never need stain or paint.

Gates, slopes and access

Getting in & out

How wide does your gate need to be?

Recommended

Double drive gate with a removable center post

Our sturdiest drive gate. The center post keeps it solid day to day, then lifts out of its in-ground socket when you need the full width for a trailer or RV. We size every gate to what needs to get through.

Racked fence

For gentle, steady slopes

Rails angle with the slope while posts stay plumb: one smooth, continuous line with a tight, even gap at the ground. Kid and pet friendly.

Stepped fence

For steep or uneven slopes

Panels stay level and drop in steps as the ground falls. Handles big grade changes, with a visible stair-step top. We read your slope on-site.

Break-away section

Access without a gate

A removable line post in the vinyl run that opens up to 14 ft, for the pool, shed, hot tub or RV pad that may come later. It takes real disassembly, so choose a gate if you need regular access.

What to expect

Simple, start to finish

  1. Free estimate and design

We walk the yard with you, measure, and talk through style, color, gates and access, including room for what’s next, like a shed or an RV pad. Most projects get a firm written quote right there.

Typical: A firm quote on the spot for most projects

  2. Approve and schedule

Pick your fence, sign off, and we lock in your installation window. From here, one project lead is your go-to person.

  3. Permits and utility locate

We pull any required permits and have Blue Stakes mark underground utilities. We’ll keep you posted as each step wraps up.

    Typical: About 7 days

  4. Installation

Our own crew sets the posts in concrete and hangs the panels, then comes back the next week to hang the gates once the concrete cures. We leave your yard clean.

    Typical: 1–7 days on site

  5. Final walkthrough

We walk the finished fence with you, and we aren't done until it's right.

Vinyl fence questions

Will vinyl fade or turn yellow in the Utah sun?

Our vinyl is UV-stabilized to hold its color for years and fade evenly, not in blotches. The manufacturer's lifetime limited warranty covers fading, cracking and yellowing.

How does a vinyl fence handle wind?

Our vinyl profile measures 1.75″ across, versus the 1.5″ most companies use, and its thicker walls stay rigid in the wind instead of rattling loose.

How much maintenance does vinyl need?

Very little. A rinse keeps it clean. There is nothing to stain or paint.

Which vinyl style gives the most privacy?

Any of the solid privacy styles: solid, solid with decorative rail (our most popular), lattice top or closed picket top. Semi-privacy styles use spaced 1.5″ or 3″ pickets, so you keep some view.

Which colors are most popular?

White and Coastal Cedar. All seven colors are shown above; we go over color options with you at the free on-site estimate.

Can a vinyl fence follow a slope?

Yes, two ways. On a gentle, steady grade we rack the fence so the rails follow the slope in one smooth line. On a steep or uneven grade we step it, keeping panels level and dropping them in steps. We read your slope on-site.

How fast will I get a quote?

You get a firm written quote within 24 hours of your free on-site estimate, and for most projects before we leave.

How long does installation take?

Most installs take 1 to 7 days on site. We set posts on day one and come back the following week to hang gates once the concrete has cured. Permits and the Blue Stakes utility locate typically take about 7 days before that.
